Update—Maya van Rossum last night at a meeting in Lower Mount Bethel, PA regarding a proposed 1.2 gigawatt data center. Community members reached out to Maya, (who is not only the Founder of Green Amendments For The Generations, but the leader of the Delaware Riverkeeper Network), to be in attendance. We gave our own public comment in support of the community and to make clear the danger and issues this project will bring to those throughout the Watershed. The resounding message of the community was the project was not wanted, going so far as to say several times that they would rather pay higher taxes than take money from this project.
